Heparin sodium can interfere with many aspects of the blood coagulation process, and has anticoagulant effects both inside and outside the body. Its mechanism of action is more complicated, mainly through binding to antithrombin III (AT-III), which enhances the latter's inhibitory effect on activated coagulation factors II, IX, X, XI and XII, and its consequences involve prevention of platelet aggregation and Destroy and hinder the formation of thrombin activating enzyme, prevent prothrombin from turning into thrombin, inhibit thrombin, thereby preventing fibrinogen from turning into fibrin, thereby exerting an anticoagulant effect.
