Carbidopa has a strong peripheral Dobart decarboxylase inhibitor. It is not easy to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. When it is used with levodopa, it only inhibits the activity of peripheral dobutase, reduces the generation of dopamine in the peripheral tissues, and alleviates its peripheral adverse reactions, thus increasing the levodopa entering the center, increasing the concentration of dopamine in the brain, and enhancing the efficacy of levodopa. Therefore, it is an important auxiliary drug of levodopa.
