Ascorbyl Glucoside, commonly known in English as Ascorbic acid 2-glucoside, commonly known as vitamin C glycoside, like MAP, is a derivative of vitamin C. Because of the instability of vitamin C, most of the commonly occurring vitamin C is in the form of derivatives. (Ascorbic acid 2-glucoside, AA2G), vitamin C glycogen, vitamin C glycogen, vitamin C glycoside, ascorbic acid glycoside identification standard.

Ascorbyl Glucoside is produced from vitamin C and starch by using a natural enzyme, which results in binding glucose to the hydroxyl group of the same reactive carbon of the ascorbic acid.
