Product Description

UK-5099 is a mature mitochondrial pyruvate carrier pharmacological inhibito, whose mechanism of action is similar to Mpc1 gene knockou (Mpc1 gene is a transport protein required for pyruvate to enter mitochondri, and its loss of function increases the conversion of pyruvate to lactate), which can block pyruvate from entering mitochondria and promote lactate production. Increasing the lactate production during the metabolism of hair follicle stem cells can activate dormant hair follicle stem cells, thereby promoting hair follicles to enter a new growth cycle.
