Kanamycin sulfate is mainly associated with the bacterial ribosomal 30S subunit, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. In recent years, a significant increase in drug-resistant strains, as some bacteria produce aminoglycoside passivation enzyme, so that the loss of antibacterial activity.
